A small problem

So I've been having trouble with my driver's door lately... it's kinda hard to shut and it just feels weird. I figured the top hinge was probably worn out again so naturally I was grabbing the door and wiggling it to see what was up... well... I did not expect the whole frickin A pillar to move.

This is not good. I was going to keep this cab alive until the day before I fall through the floor but this is more serious. I think this truck's days as my daily driver are very limited. I imagine PJ or Bobby would fix it but my motivation level is pretty low.

Yikes. Yeah that's a rough repair because you'll likely find more rust the more you cut it away.

I was leaning towards expanding foam...

Realistically I'm probably going to scrap this cab. The frame is in good shape, the drivetrain is solid, it's just the stupid cab that's rusted out. Drivers side floor is going, cab corners are gone, now this.

I should just buy a newer truck to daily drive. I was hoping I could make it last a few more years and buy my fiance a new car and inherit her prius...
