Good Morning,
I am working on my 93 Ranger's air conditioning. I recently purchased all new parts for the system, everything !!! On the dryer I have a fitting for my R134a charging system but on the high side line there is not a fitting for it. There is a port with a cap on it there and I tried purchasing an adapter for it but the thread on the fitting was incorrect as it was too big. Does anyone know what the size of the thread is on it so I can get the proper adapter for it ?? Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

My credo
What's the worst that could happen?
Congrats on your courage.
I'm about to do the same for my 94. I have the majority of my parts (not doing the evap. decided to just flush it instead) in the cart from Rock Auto, but have not yet made the purchase.

Can you link to where you purchased your high side line? That might help me and others provide you with the info you need.

Thanks.

I have sent an email to GPD as the manifold/line assembly, GPD 4811243, came from them via Rock Auto. All the parts were purchased thru Rock !!

That's the same one I have in my cart....hmmmmnnnn.
You can barely see the port in the image.
I wonder if the $78 one from Four Seasons is any better?

Please post your findings if it's not too much trouble.

Thanks

They make a couple different adapter fitting kits too, you might just need a different adapter.
