a 3.0 can tow! (not for the weak stomached)Pics added!
A friend of mine had a '95 grand prix that had to be moved. We went and picked up a dolly. I said "I'll try it but, It'll probably be slow". The car was snowed in and the plugs were fouled so it wouldn't start. We ended up pulling the car out onto the road then, winched it onto the dolly. By time we got it all hooked up it was dark. We pulled out onto the road easily. I was just telling him "the brakes probably won't be the greatest" when we almost missed the first corner! We made it around the corner so I stopped to check everything. All was well. There are some really big hills between here and there, I only had to drop to 3rd on one of them. We were almost home when we saw something in the road ahead. It was a deer hit by a semi just up in front of us. I didn't have a lot of time to react so subconsciously I straddled it. The truck cleared it just fine but, THUMP. I said "Oh, the car got it". He said "I hope we're not dragging it" I said "No, I think we would feel it". We got to his house and we jumped out to look. I noticed that the dolly sat even lower than the car. We walked around the back to see if the bumper was still there. There is a small rip in one side of the bumper but, that was all. He kicked the bumper and blood and guts fell out. We then went and got a flashlight to look a little better. The front of the dolly is coated with deer fat and hair. I can't wait to take the dolly back tomorrow! My friend said that the car is not going in his garage for a while.
