What do you mean you have no idea what to do about the steering? I'm assuming its a narrowed dana 44?

I'm going to use a Y-link setup with chevy 1-ton TRE's (Tie rod ends)

I'm going to be honest with you. If you can't figure out the steering then I don't think this is something you should do. Before jumping into this I would do a lot more research.

chevy tie rod ends

With that you should be able to figure it out from there :icon_thumby:

im running full size axles, i have kind of looked into heim and the 1ton chevy tie rod ends. i just dont know what would be the strongest and best for my application. i'm building a mud truck and i just want everything to hold up to some abuse. i've lifted trucks before but never did an axle swap or anything this big so i know trying to reuse the stock tie rod setup probably wouldnt be a good idea.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
go over to parts galore or taylor auto salvage and get some k truck tie links, mod them to work.
