I have broken CVs in a Ranger and Dakota with the Dana 35 front 31-32" tires and an open differential. I definitely don't recommend any type of locker in the front for that reason. If the Powertrax grip pro will work that is what I would go with. However I get around great with just a locked rear and open front. Also in my opinion the Powertrax no slip is not worth the extra cost over the lock right, they both do the exact same thing the no slip is supposedly more quiet but not really, I run 85w140 gear oil in my axles so they are both pretty quiet.
