My 99 5.0 Ex has serious front axle issues, and needs replaced.
Will any 97-01 axle work, more specifically from a 98 4.0.

My awd case is locked up, but ruined my front diff before I pulled the driveshaft. I'm acquiring the parts for a manual t-case swap this weekend, and my brother has a 98 4.0 Ex getting SAS'd.

(yes, both axles are 3.73)

Well it's a good thing I own two Rangers as well, otherwise I'd have no reason to continue my membership.

Thank you Ryan.

I've also confirmed it on EF, and by checking part numbers on bearing kits, cv shafts, and seals.

I just had to make sure, I've seen lots of cars with the same axle/ transaxle, with different engine options, take different CV shafts, or have different mounts.
