Hey I'm new to posting on this forum, typically I've just been viewing, but I've been struggling a bit. I'm looking to lift my 99 Ranger 4x4, ideally 5.5" but the best I can find for my truck is the superlift 4" lift kit. I know there's 5.5" out there, I just can't seem to find any.

Second to that, I've seen a Maxtrac 5" lift kit, but it looks kinda sketchy.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks!

That Maxtrac kit is for a rear wheel drive (RWD), so no workie for your 4x4.

Unfortunately Superlift is the only sub-$2K suspension option for the '98-'11 trucks, which provides ~4" lift (the other ($4K+) option being the Dixon Bros. kit, which isn't as much a "lift kit" as it is a performance suspension system).

If you really need (want) 5.5" lift, I would suggest the addition of a 2" body lift together with the Superlift.

There’s no 5 or 6 inch suspension for that year? All I can find is the 4 inch Superlift as well

Nope. As 4x4junkie mentioned, about the only way you'll get there is with the Superlift kit and body lift or ripping out the front suspension and doing an solid axle swap.
