99 4.0L ohv p1309 code

what have you had to do to fix? cam sync sensor? sync assy?

Truck runs smooth, mileage okay, just the code....

I must be the only one to ever have this code. Can't find anything with search on here either - not even on youtube.

I did get the codes read and know it is "Misfire detection disabled" and know it is either the Cam Sync sensor, the entire cam synchronizer shaft and/or crank sensor or the PCM. there are a tone of variables for this engine code and it would be nice to know if anyone else has ever dealt with this and what they did?
