98' Grant Wheel Adapter...

I've been trying to spruce up my truck's interior a little bit lately and was researching the idea of putting a Grant steering wheel on. I have found out that Grant doesn't make an adapter kit for the ranger in this year because of airbags, etc. I have however heard that its possible to piece something together and make it work. I've looked around the forum, but haven't really seen anything exactly for a 98' and I want to do this right by not going off of a 97's post. Anyone have any ideas for the cheapest and best way to be able to fit a wheel on my truck? Thanks!

They don't make then because it is illegal to do so.

I'm pretty sure airbags can be disconnected if driver opts to do so-

I have a 94 (non air bag) and ordered a Grant/APC adapter and wheel
I was wondering what size spacer to go with (2 inch or ?) or could I get by without one?

Your best bet for a response is to start a new thread. A lot of members don't reread an old thread. In case you don't know, there is a "new thread" button at the top, left side of the "post reply" button.

If you post a new thread on an original topic doesn't it show up as a new thread on the main page so people may respond to it?

If not I'll just do as you suggested.

From doing some image searching it looks like they had a spacer.

I know when I did a 77 Chevy C10 I had, it required one.

Yes, it will, but before I was a moderator I would skip over ones that I had previously read. Especially if there was BS in the thread.
However, People do read and reply to old threads all the time.

I think the best bet is to measure the depth of the original wheel to get an estimate. I've seen them starting from 1" to 4" so maybe a 2" might be a good size to go with.
