Hi, I joined for information and inspiration, motivation and access to technical data on how to fix and restore my truck. I am 74 , from Crystal River, Fl and brought this Ranger from Johnson Ford in Kingston, NY. Truck is stock with 106,800 miles. It lives in Shelter Logic garage in our back yard since we moved to Fl in 2001. Some of the thing‘s I need to fix are paint, engine oil valve cover leak, and 4WD system. I collect tools and am interested in small engine repair, maintenance, welding, and chainsaws. We just used the Ranger to pull out three Sega Palm trees to transplant. Today I put truck on jack stands and verified 4WD failure to engage in Hi/Lo. Unfortunately what you see is where I have to work on truck. Last image is new way to get stuff out to work area.

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
