What ?, me worry
I was recently given a 1997 Ford Ranger, with some issues. The rear axle was leaking oil on the driver side, so I replaced the seal and figured the other side was probably not much better. When the wheel came off the passenger side there was no brake drum. No Problem, who doesn't have that part ?.

Unfortunately, there was nothing under the wheel, no brakes, nothing.

I was able to find everything except the little pushrods between the shoes and the wheel cylinders and the parking brake lever.

Is there any chance someone might know where these kinda items can be obtained ?. Pic of what is needed is attached, the pic is of the drivers side, need them for the passenger side. Local scrap yards are not open and wont talk to anyone, even an old idiot with cash in hand.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide

john

I found the wheel cylinder pins, they were for older ford. The measurements were exactly the same as mine, so I grabbed 4 0f them for $ 10. I have 10 inch drums and no one seems to have the parking brake lever for 10inch drums. Parking brake on one side is better than none. There is a Bendix part number on the side of the one on the left, just rusted to the point some of the letters & numbers can't be read. Oh Well ..............

Thanks

John

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Want me to hit my junk yard tomorrow? Couldn't cost much to mail that.

Ok. I'll check it out.

Gen 3, 7.5" axle with 10" drums, right?

I grabbed this stuff. The parking brake lever arms were about $5 each. You can have one or both and I'll throw in as much if the other pieces as you want. Shipping from 29385. Post office will probably have lowest shipping cost. (Big padded envelope?)

Send me a pm and let me know what you want.
