Has anyone figured out how to remove the battery tray/assembly from a 97? I have drilled out 4 spot welds on the inner fender, and all spot welds on the core support.. hoping it would all come out as one piece. But it seems I missed something somewhere, like a hidden spot weld or bolt, or something. Any ideas?

Hmm, maybe I didn't get all of the weld out then. There was 4 for sure, but I'll double check that I didn't leave a little behind. Thanks!

I find it helps if you very lightly sand the area. Usually the little divots that appear will be spot welds.

Ahhhh....jul of 21

My follow up would have been hammer and chisel if needed.

Things don't always just fall off. A flat bar and some tapping are often required.
