What is the minimum thickness for a 1997 XLT 2WD front rotor?
Chilton's says look on the casting but it's too rusted to read.

Min thickness is 24.5mm or 0.96" for a 2wd front rotor

Thanks Sasquatch!
It's a good a thing I bought new rotors from Advance Auto, mine were about 0.940". Driver's side was scored, the pad wore down to the metal before I was able to change.
I figured by the time I had the old rotors resurfaced, they would be thin + the grinding cost, it would be better to buy new. I had 141K on them. Also put in new Timken bearings and Wagner Thermoquiet pads.
Stops great now!
