96 Lincoln Town Car Engine Removal Questions?

I have an older gentlemen wanting me to swap in a lower mileage engine and transmission into his 96 town car with the same year donor. I have pulled many engines and transmissions but never out of a town car. Is there anything I need to be aware of. I would love to pull he whole package but will separate if it is easier. I haven't looked to see if the core support was bolted or welded yet. Any info would be great.

That's basically a conceited Crown Vic with a weight problem, we never pulled a core support on a Crown or tried to pull the engine and transmission as an assembly. I'd want to replace the rear main seal and front pump seal before installing used components anyway.

I usually do replace the seals. Most likely I will pull them separate. Sometimes it takes 3 times as long trying to take the easier route.
