Hi everyone this is my first post on a car forum so please be forgiving lol.
Let me introduce my truck, I have a 1996 Ford Ranger Xlt extended cab with the fender flares, manual hubs power interior ext with roughly 500,000 miles ( odometer broke years ago at 290k before she really got used a lot even haha) on it but still running questionable strong. Its had little work done throughout its long life but only really when things were noticeable bad. . I know i have a failing wheel bearing on driver side and a failing ball joint on passenger. I also got some nasty looking inner outter tie rods and sleeves. My plan is to kinda replace the entire front end suspension and all in one go but i am having troubles finding videos/posts on people changing these parts of 4x4 rangers. there's a guy on youtube named stronghold garage who has some very good videos on how to get down to the spindles but that's as far into the front end as he gets. i was wondering if anyone had any diagrams on these inner outter tie rods and if anyone had any good videos on ball joint switching. or even if someone could walk me through or give tips would be greatly appreciated

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
I don't know of any videos. But lots of good info in our tech library on This page . Read the articles about ttb steering troubleshooting, alignment (2 articles) and ball joints installation.
