I recently bought a 95 Ranger with the 3.0 V6 Vulcan engine and automatic transmission. My air intake is cracked and is bypassing the filter. I can't seem to find a replacement anywhere! This seems like the one engine that is hard to find parts for the 4.0 V6 and the 4 cylinder are easy to find parts for but not mine. If anyone knows where I can I find one please let me know. Would duct tape or some sort of sealant work? I'm about to start searching junk yards for a replacement. Thanks in advance!

My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
What style does the 95 have? The rectangular box or the big round housing. Can you post a picture? If necessary, I can get to my junk yards this Friday or Saturday and get something.

It has the cylinder housing. Tomorrow afternoon my friend is checking a place out that might have one for me. If they don't find it I would greatly appreciate you checking your junk yard for me. I'll reply on here tomorrow. Thanks!

I was in this same spot had a crack and a hole the size of a quarter on mine what I ended up doing was using epoxy to fill the gaps then sanded it down and painted it black
