Would this be an issue with the Charcoal Canister?
Rough Idle and Stalling Out: I removed the hose from the Throttle Body and placed my thumb over the hose, and the rough idle and stalling out stopped. The motor ran like it was supposed to.
I replaced the hose and connected the new hose to the Canister line, and still the same issue.
Would this be a bad Charcoal Canister that is causing this issue?
The only hose connected to the charcoal canister is the one leading to the throttle body; the one leading to the fuel tank was cut, and the end burned.
I am assuming my father did this when he was wiring the motor. He passed away in 2020, so I cannot find out why it was not connected.
Any ideas on this issue?
I have no issues purchasing a new canister, as I found one on Amazon for $59.00.
Heres is my Canister
