Hey everyone!

I've been searching the web trying to find the best suspension option for my project. However, there is so much info out there that I'm struggling to find the answers.

The project in question is a '94 Mazda B3000, ext cab, 2wd. I'll be stripping it down to the frame and building it back up with an LS out of a donner truck. My goal is to have a lowered drift capable street truck.

What options are there to improve the handling?

I'm sure there are other threads answering this, I just haven't came across them. Feel free to share the links so I can come through them.

Imo, SLA type front end is better than TIB. Sell the 94 and get a 98+. Or frame swap.

He's right. The Twin I Beam suspension is not very adjustable, especially when you change the ride height. You will need lots of adjustment in ride height and your frontend specs to setup for drifting.

I was leaning towards front subframe / full frame swap. I really like the boday style of the older Fords. Plus the '94 has sentimental value for me.

I'm just having a difficult time finding (or settling) on the right option.

I don't know difting, but I imagine that having the wheels turn more than normal would be good. I would research what the top drifters are using and see if I can find something that is similar and swap that in.
