In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
So you’re looking to replace the parts in these pictures?

Yes. I dont think I can remove these without destroying the lines. Rusted together bad. Gonna try using the specialty tool. About $12 at VIP. At this point I got nothing to lose. Thanks

Smartmax....
This is getting to be a habit with you. You ask for advice then don’t listen (or maybe understand). We get it, your trying to fix up your truck. We will help you, but you need to work with us to accomplish this.
As has already been stated in multiple threads you’ve posted... Go buy the tool to take the quick connectors apart.
Separate the connectors. Then inspect the hard line to see if it’s ok to reuse.

AND... Relax a little, we’ll help you do it:
(Pick 2)
- Right
- Safe
- Cheap

That looks nice. Is that in Maine? Is that the town name on the big sign?

Ok..for the 4th time. Never mind. It's all good.
I cant read or write.. I ask question. I get answers to questions I dont ask. Its.all good. And nobody.will.get this one either. What did I just.say...just now. Try to repeat. Go ahead. What?. Nobody except within the last 2 post has answered or read correctly my inquiries. I dont need a friggin tool to.separate the lines. They are not.goona come apart due to what? Read slowly. As I stated.before ..they are rusted together. I already read that they do not separate that easy. I listened. I read it slowly. I got the jest of it. Get over it. Mustang? No. I got.the one that showed. Actually showed what I am.working..wow..someone you are kinda sorta possibly handicap slow... Snort some more.of that. Took how many post to get some.useable direction. And that had nothing about specialty tools that may not actually work.. Nothing to do with Mustang something . I am not restoring a Mustang. Didnt see anything related. And I'm not listening? I 'll just deal with those that can actually relate to the subject. No more replays to the rest of you.....whatever you are or wanna be.

Have you seen how to take them apart? Here's a video.

I have to admit I never could get them apart, I got rid of them and used two hose clamps side by side on each line.
So YOU watched the video that YOU suggested I watch despite the fact it didn't work for you. What? Too rusted up. Too corroded? Hmmm. I got crazies sitting around reading this.and have read my responces. I dont need a video. I will get the same results you did. I wanted to locate the replacement parts. Took me dozens of trys and just today I actually got solid direction. Hard to believe these backyard yahoos cant read simple English and comprehend what the content is even after 3 editions of it. How different ways can one say... I need this information..not something else . Some people should try taking a nap come noon. Its empowering they say. And stay off the Valium. Funny someone suggested that.
