Hey I’m new to this so don’t exactly know if I’m posting this correctly. Basically I’m having DPFE sensor problems. I have read and heard a lot about the autozone or aftermarket sensors are not the best and tend to go out. But mine are literally going out within a day or two. Last one I had lasted a month and this one only lasted me two days. I feel like it’s more then just the sensor. Anyone have any ideas? Truck runs good doesn’t seem like cats are clogged or anything. It does seem a little sluggish as in getting up to speed. I’ve never owned a ford. I had a s10 for along time. I love the truck and I worked hard for it but just trying to trouble shoot the right way and not spend money which I don’t have. So any help would be appreciated. Also if I posted in the wrong place I apologize.

My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.
Motorcraft only for a DPFE sensor. I've never had an aftermarket DPFE sensor last for any amount of time.

Generally speaking, if it's something that makes the engine turn, it needs to be Motorcraft or made by the same company that makes the Motorcraft part. Anything else, if it works, will only be a temporary fix.
