94 f150 water pump

ive removed the water pump and need to replace it but cant figure out how the fan and pulley assembly detach from the old pump what do i need to do 300 6cyl

dang I asked this question this morning and expected to have an answer by now has anyone ever done this before and know what im talking about or are u all just a bunch of clowns here

If yo uhaven't figured it out yet -- you need a fan clutch tool. Basically, it's a GIANT wrench that fits over the fan bolts, and another one that fits onto the cltuch. Usually, they're easier to use while the pump is on the truck, but you can do it off the truck as well.

If yo uhave a mill, or some patience, you can make one fairly easily, otherwise they're about $60 or so. :icon_thumby:
