My credo
Let the universe take you where it will !!!
So we have had some serious rain the last 2 days and I noticed, that the rear most side window is leaking on both sides. I needed to go to window shop for windshield trim clips. And asked them about it. They said find good used ones, Part is discontinued. Is this really the only option, any other thought appreciated

I think they have studs on them and nuts on the inside, if you get the side trim off of the inside there would be nuts holding the windows in. If that's the case it's just the "butyl rope" type seal around the windows, or the nuts are loose... The butyl rope stuff is like $17 for a box at Autozone, it's on the shelf by their gaskets and silicone not behind the counter...

The windows are just bolted in like Scott said. They will just need new seals. Not a big deal, just need to remove the inner panels to get at the fasteners.

Good, that's what I thought. That style isn't bad, the extended cab rear windows are the same and the hardest part is getting the panel clips out successfully... my '97 Ranger came with a broken rear window. The nuts are probably 9mm and you have to go tighter on them than you think you should, mine loosened up on me and leaked, tightened them back up and it's good to go.
