Look at the tube that goes from your air filter box to your the plenum. I had a 92 Ranger that would start and run idle as a top but if you got off idle it would dye. If you slammed the throttle from idle it would jump and run until it got close to max RPM then start lurching/stalling. Like a huge vacuum leak, turns out the tube was cracked in the areas where it has the flexible joints. Hope this helps! ...cougar...
