Let the universe take you where it will !!!
As stated I have a 93 explorer sport. About 2 months ago I needed 4wd so I hit the button than tried low with no response. After some research I tried to put a new bump stop inside the shift motor which didnt work, than I tried a spare shift motor I had still no change. So I did a self test of the controler. Tested good got another from junk yard that tested good neither fixed the problem. Checked clutch sensor tests good brake sensor good, vss good swapped other sensor in transfer case. With motor off I can manually shift to 4low so no mechanical damage. I replaced dash switch with a junk yard find neither made a difference. At this point I'm at a loss, I do have an abs light but as far as I'm aware those systems dont communicate am I wrong?. Anyone have any other insights. Otherwise I guess I need to install that 1350, but then I dont have a current use for my 2 1354s lol.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
There’s a red with white stripe wire at the controller... temporarily ground that wire and see if it will shift into 4low.
This will bypass all of your safeties (trans in neutral, foot on brake, etc.) and allow you to shift into low while your driving down the highway.... YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT! Only try it while your parked in the driveway.

Yes, +1

Also pull off the shift motor and plug it in, and see of it turns to 4High, 4low position and back to 2WD
If still no 4low then it is a neutral sensor issue
