I'm going to be installing a pair of fogs into my truck, and I was going to use the existing wiring. (depending on where it leads to)

Does anyone have a picture of a 93/94 truck's fog light switch? Just trying to decide if I want to go stock or aftermarket. I went through a few threads but I didn't see much. I don't even know where to look.

I installed my switch right below the headlight switch. Those step downs are wide open behind the panel. Drilled a hole large enough to slide the switch through but not large enough not to tighten the lock nut on the back side.

My Splash has the OE wiring as well but considering the age (16 years ) and being open to the elements I'm gonna use the kit's wiring when I get around to putting the damn things on my truck. LOL

I did this when I painted the interior black and red.

koda you have seen my fogs right on my build thread? they came as a complete kit might be worth checking out for ya. as for the fog switch, im like 80% sure from what i can find, is that the foglight switch is integrated into the headlight switch but i swore it had a diffrent switch but idk. maybe it was on the newer models....

I used to have an advance auto kit, I sold it on here to some guy for like 20 bucks or something, I can't remember. I want it to look stock though, so I'm looking for what the stock switch looks like so I can see if I really want to go with that. If they were going on a bull bar or light bar or something I'd just throw on an aftermarket switch, but I'm putting them in a stock location.

Fyi:

Explorers around the same years have rear window defogger switch on those same steps below the headlight switch, and I've seen one in the boneyard with 2 switches there, but don't remember if one was a fog light switch or not, BUT it's stock and will direct swap into a Ranger.

I also have a 1994 Ranger Splash 4x4 Stepside. While tearing my dash apart for other work, I discovered a connector in the back of the bezel, below the headlight switch installed behind one of the stepdown panels. I would think a Splash 4x4 would have had a fog light option, but when looking at bumpers online, every one with holes for fog lights says "except for Splash"! Will one of these bumpers fit my splash?
