Tell me about it. I've been searching for a decent short base 4x4 for some time. In the last two years I found two here in hawaii but passed on them due to rust issues. Now I'm expanding my search to the mainland and not coming up with much. There are some nice long boxes out there but I really want a shortie. May be forced to pick up a 2wd and do a conversion but having to ship multiple vehicles kind of blows the budget.
