91 ranger driver brake line help

Ok well I was adding my extended brake lines to my truck and on the driver side brake line there is 2 hard lines going into one block (the one mounted on the coil bucket) then it goes into the rubber line down to the caliper. My question is does anyone else have this and what have they used to extend this to compensate for lift.

Many of the trucks of this era have the same thing. the fitting is part of the hose on that side. You can solve the problem by installing a T fitting into the hard lines and then your extended hose will fit.

I tried that but I could not get one of the hard lines to seal into the t fitting. Is there any tricks to get a brake line to seal? I tightened the line down as much as possible and the line could still move enough back and forth to have brake fluid come out of the flare

Once tight it should not move....something wrong with your fitting or the T itself.

Well in the original brake line it doesn't move, in the T fitting the hard line will wiggle just a bit. I may just try another T fitting or hopefully I don't have to remake the brake line to get a tighter flare.
