Hello all, did a brief search and couldn't find my exact answer but here's the problem: 1993 Ranger Splash,3.0 w/air,2wd,rebuilt motor at 97K now w/137K and it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned BUT, got in to start it last week and the fuel gauge pegged to full and after turning the key on and off a few times it went to the right amount then a few days ago at start up the alternator gauge showed 9 volts and kept dropping as I drove around the block. Tested the battery at an auoto shop, dead, bought a new one, connected it and same thing, 9 volts.Bad alternator? Fuse? Relay? Thanks for any help. I'm DITW without my "Little Mule-y".
