Awesome, man. Pure awesome. I know engines well enough to build them and get more horsepower... but I don't know shit about suspensions, so this whole thread is just blowing me away. Seriously, that thing could break the second you sit in it, and it'd still be way better than what I could come up with. This seriously makes me want to do something with mine... then I remember about the bikes I'm forgetting about =P.

Anyways dude, great work, look forward to seeing more.

nice build i like the 4 link. if you got a locker at least for the rear end you would have a harder time getting stuck.....or if you want to go the cheap way you can just weld the spider gears in it.....(i'm assuming it's not a road vehicle).....front and rear locked and it will get down.

Both diffs were welded way before we built the 4-link.

Sorry, the Ranger has become a long term project, so no updates. We're throwing together a '79 Bronco out of spare parts around the yard for my brother, he needs something to wheel with this summer.

Still lots left to do before it's ready for wheeling this summer. But here's how she sits in the yard right now.

Nope, I am Serge. My brother is Joel. He owns the sled and the Ranger in this build thread. And yes, that's a Snopro, but not the consumer 500. He has a race-only '05 Snopro 440.

As for the Dana 44 gears... I already sold them, sorry.
