89-92 front fender & hood swap to 97

Greetings all,

I like the style of the square bodies. I inherited a 3rd gen ranger. 5 family members & 297,000 miles later, it is mine lol. Long story short can I swap the front end of a 2nd gen(fenders & hood) to my 3rd gen. Possible?? Or am I better off looking for a square boy.

Definitely not. 1st and 2nd gen truck body parts will somewhat interchange but not between 3rd gens. You might as well be putting a Honda front clip on it...that's how much different they are, if you look at the body lines it'll be pretty obvious why. Your 3rd gen has much more in common with 98+ trucks.

Would cab swapping and bed swapping be a better idea
