So today I took the truck on the freeway everything was going fine and then it lost power the truck was still running just nothing when I pushed the gas pedal pulled off the road fast forward a bit after getting a tow from a friend now at home my buddy starts to look around the engine bay and sees the harness to the cruise control and noticed a little bit of wire exposed started unraveling the tape and there it was more exposed wire so I went about fixing it and WOW 😀😃😁👍👍👍truck started up and sounds like I never heard it sound before really smooth and quiet while it idles press the gas pedal and sounds like a truck is supposed to sound if you haven't checked if your truck has cruise control take a look at the wire harness seems to have been what my issue was I been driving it pretty hard to see if it would stall or anything it hasn't I'll keep posting updates but for now the truck is up and running I would have never thought about that being the cause but it was hopefully this helps anyone dealing with the same issue
