I seen some where here someone had asked if anyone had put a Cummins turbo on a 4.0l. Well I had one on for a bit when my first turbo lost the seals. It was lots of boost at the top end of the RPM range. I needed it a bit closer to the ground. lol

Ford eec iv with add on hardware and self tuning. Want to go to eec v with a Thoroughbred chip to make life easier.... It idles like stock and runs well though it's boost but I'm at my limits. Would like to clean up a fue things with programming.

NICE!

How much boost?

Have you looked at a Tweecer for tuning? http://www.tweecer.com

The EECIV is very tunable with a Tweecer.:icon_thumby:

If you don't mind me asking, what add on hardware are you using? What tuning program that allows self tuning? Or is it built into a j3 chip?
