so last night i decided to scrap the ladder bar setup because there was no articulation of the back axle and i thought i might wreck something if i pull into a big enough driveway... sooooooo here is the outcome of all-nighter

well as of right now motor and trans are all in and fuel lines and brake lines are in and done brakes have been bled hand brake is awesome kwik wire harness is being installed as of right now.




















here is the steering shaft now all done no extra heims or u joints i movet the collumn over an inch towards the driver sice where it comes through the firewall

So what all is involved in moving the steering column over? And how much clearance do you think it gained you? Awesome build by the way.
here are some pics

















ang here is a pic of where the steeringshaft was before and i actually would have had to notch the header about a quater of an inch and it still would have been less then an eighth inch away and that was the smaller inside shaft if you look way to the right you can cee the rubber bushing just barely in the picture

Damn Kam! Don't know what your long term careeer plans are--but if you did all this welding and fabrication, you should definitely look into working in a NASCAR team shop or top end street rod builder. You got skills! BTW--suspension parts are all boxed up and ready to ship...
