So my 1987 ranger current has zero power, and the battery and ground connections are good same with the fusible links. Nothing in the cab turns on same with headlights and tail lights and it will not turn over.

My credo
If it ain't broke, break it.
The connections may be good but is the battery good?

If the battery is good then it's a connection problem.

Yeah I’m going try to tighten and check all the connections again to see what happens

Welcome to TRS :)

Follow the positive battery cable to the Starter Relay post, that post is the Power Distribution point for the whole vehicle

Disconnect Negative cable or Positive cable from battery

Remove all the wires on this ONE POST, clean all of them
There will be at least 5 Fusible Links on this post

A fusible link is a short wire, 6", that is spliced to a vehicles 12volt power wire, its acts like a "slow blow" fuse

Head light switch has a fusible link on that post
Ignition switch(cab power) has a fusible link on that post
Alternator has fusible link on that post
Computer has a fusible link on that post
Power windows/door lock, and 4x4 system will have fusible links on the post

So all 12v power goes from battery positive thru that ONE post to the vehicle

And there is NO 12volts, unless there is also 0volts, Negative/Ground, electricity needs to flow in a "circuit", a circle
i.e. if you hook up 1 wire to a 12v bulb nothing happens, must have 2 wires, a 12v and a 0v
So Ground is very important, check and clean battery negative cables where they connect to engine and body and frame

Thank you,i definitely going to give that a try and see if it does the trick

Be sure to unhook at least 1 battery cable from the battery before removing wires on that post

And the short positive battery cable from battery to post can go bad, it can corrode under the insulation, you can use a razor knife to slice insulation on either battery cable and peel it back, if you see a whitish "powder" that's corrosion
You can just tape it back up after inspection
