So I’ve decided to pick up where i left off on fixing up my old b2 and I've ran into a few problems, one of which being the engine bay wiring harness. The old wiring harness has a bunch of connectors that either have tabs broken off, broken wire, or part of the socket itself has broken and I was wondering if anyone knew of a company that makes replacement harnesses for B2’s? Any help or advice is appreciated.

Watching this thread because I'm in a similar situation with my NA V8 swap '84 and have little idea where to start being a novice.

Most of the connectors are available as repair items. That's about as good as it gets.

I was hoping to avoid having to splice any wires cause im not very good at it, especially when it comes to soldering. On another note, if someone is able to inform me, how can i tell if i need to replace my cylinder heads after the truck sat for about 20ish years? (i already have one of the heads off and the gaskets were toast)

You could:
- look for a used good harness at a salvage yard, or try Ebay
- have the heads checked by a machine shop
