So Hudson got all mad at me for breaking the glovebox knob. Anybody want to bail me out? Where do I find that little retaining clip?

I just looked online and it doesn’t look like those shifter parts are here. I might be able to get the glove box knob.
I might go tomorrow and browse for stuff.

The spring is half way broken on this knob. But it holds onto the lock nicely. PM me your address and I'll mail it to you. As expected, I didn't find the shifter parts. Everything here is column shift or manual.

Yesterday it rained and we learned that our windshield leaks. I have replaced windows before, but this Bronco2 thing is a little different. There are metal clips involved? Who carries that seal? How many of you have done this repair?

Wow. Halloween took you guys out. This is the longest I’ve ever gone without hearing from someone. LOL!!

We are in the middle of windshield resealing. Fun. The metal trim strips have thin little pieces of rubber inside them. Why? I have to assume Ford deemed them necessary, but what do they do? Who has them for replacement?

Likely nobody. When i had the windshield put in my ranger, the guys had to go junkyard shopping for them.

What are those little rubber strips for? Are they necessary?

I would assume the rubber keeps the trim from rattling on the clips. And I guess you figured out the windshield is glued in. I think originally Ford has some thick double sided butyl tape. I think the windshield guys use something out of a caulking gun now.
