86 ranger front spring buckets

Looking for suggestions how to space the spring buckets 2 inches off the frame.
Doing a dana 44 ttb swap so need to get the springs straight up and down

Saw that. My fabrication ability and budget is limited. Trying to keep as much oe replacement as i can

2x4 x 1/4 wall steel tubing is a very common size, I use it for trailer tongues. I went out to get the exact width measurements, but, it is buried under my equipment trailer. I am pretty sure it is exactly 2" wide. I buy mine at auctions, so, I am not sure what new costs. I would weld the mounts to the 2x4 and bolt that onto the frame, as I think that would give you more surface clamping area and you avoid welding to the thin frame.
