86-87 aerostar 2.3 exhaust manifold

Does any 1 know if the 86-87 2.3 aerostar header type exhaust manifold will work on 87 2.3 ranger?

I would have to say "probably" because they are probably the same engine...or very similar...

You can also use the 93-97 shorty header, but you'll have to reroute the EGR and/or fabricate one...I have this on my truck but still haven't fitted the EGR pipe...and already got fined $360 for not having it on my truck...

I know the flange is the same I was thinking about clearing the cross member firewall n such. Do they share the same frame?

I've heard some people (read, actually) claim the Aerostar is an RBV...meaning what I don't know...but I searched the part at Drag times and this is the list of vehicles that use the same part...

Pretty much...they tend to pick places like scrap yards or hang out on highways in those gas stations...I've been stopped in both...first time I had everything hooked up...second time (this year) did not have the emissions connected...but I do have a court date to 'splain myself to de judge...
