This is what you wrote first . . .



that's high pressure, low volume . . which is a conventional spray setup. Now you say you have HVLP which is high volume low pressure.

So see why you are confusing me??
Understandable it was late and when you type from a iPhone sometimes things dont come out the right way I'm figuring my setup is a older hvlp since its op is 35psi and is bottom fed.

If it is a suction feed gun, chances are it isn't a HVLP; statistically. There are very few HVLP suction guns. Want to tell the gun name/model??

Well there you go, its a conventional gun. That's why you are using so much paint. There is a huge difference in the amount of paint used between a conventional gun and a HVLP gun.

Oh ok, thanks fo clearing up the misconception, by no means am I a knowledgeable painter all the times I've painted before was with someone who knew the trade and they set it all up for me to just point and spray.

the 2.9 is almost out of the 88 ready to be rebuilt, paint, and truck painted!
