84-87 Swap

We have an 84 Ranger, the floors are pretty rough, we really need to replace the entire cab. I have found an 87, but a friend of mine said the only one that would fit would be an 83 or 84.

Before I buy this cab, I need to know if it will fit. Thanks for your advice.

As long as it is a standard cab you should be fine.

A lot of the wiring will be different so keep track of yours or prepare yourself for a lot of wiring work.

Easiest way to solve the wiring problem would probably be to just strip all of it from the new cab and use what was on the old cab. Well, anything more than the cab light anyway....
