Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
It looks like the old engine changed it’s own oil regularly.
Like any good SBC it leaks from everywhere it can. The good thing about a leaky sbc though.. every bolt I needed to take out came out super easy lol.

Ah yeah that thing screeeeams! Still soul-less though. I'm always going to be "old man yells at cloud" about electric cars I think.

It would still be fun to make a couple passes in it.

I tend to agree... something about the roar... fire... and the smell in the air.

Hell yeah it would. Doing a burnout in that thing sounds really wierd when your sitting in it I bet.

Probably doesn't sound too far off from a supercharged engine with a quite exhaust.

Started removing interior bits from the mouse mansion today. Gross. Super super gross.

Didn't find any bodies though, just 48lbs eaten acorns and 20lbs dried up turd.

Made some "progress" yesterday. Ordered a new fuel tank and finally had the stars align well enough so I could order a complete front suspension/steering rebuild kit.

I've been TRYING to order this front end kit for over a year.. 300$ and comes with everything but a new pitman arm. Total steal.

Every time I had the cash and went to hit the "buy now" button though.. the damn kit would be out of stock.. then a week later when I was broke it would be available again.. week after.. out of stock.. back in stock.. out of stock.. AAAAAH!

I finally got the damn thing though. Super duper happy about that. Going to change all that crap out while the engine bay is empty and its super easy to get at.

Honestly.. I'll probably cheat and roll the car directly across the street to a super conveniently located garage and have them do the front end lol. I'll spend the cash to save the time.

Time for "fun" facts!

I've tallied up the total of what I've spent on parts so far 😧🥵🤪

Here she goes..

Fti level 4 th400- 2175$
ICT timing cover 90$
ICT valley cover 38$
ICT mount plates 35$
Flexplate spacer 11$
Heater core bypass 15$
Breather tank 27$
Air/oil seperator 67$
Holley 302-2 oil pan 330$
B&M 2400 nitrous converter 357$
Holley sniper intake 514$
Headers 106$
Timing cover gasket kit 33$
Holley 302-15 dipstick kit 38$
Front end kit 310$
Fuel tank 260$
FiTech go efi 4 1200$
Vision 15x4 front wheels 224$
Vision 15x10 -25 rear wheels 317$
20' -6an stainless braided line 90$
Fabricated valve covers 104$

Parts total so far: 6,400$

I'll have another grand or so in Fuel pump, lines, and ignition controller. Close to a grand in turbos, another wastegate, and oiling for the turbos, 300 in lines and fittings for the pcv system (using AN stuff everywhere), 600 for a custom lifetime warranty driveshaft, whatever a good ratchet shifter costs, 1250 or so on tires and rear wheels, 500ish on intercooler/piping/carb hat..

Still a lot to go lol. 13k deep when it's "done" at least. I hope the ol lady don't find this 🤭

Howdy strangers! Life has had me way busy with all sorts of things lately. Hope everyone has been well.

My plan for the wagon has taken ANOTHER last minute turn, somewhat inspired by @89Twincharge..

Said change to plans is currently on the delivery vehicle on its way to my ma's. Super excited to get out of work and go grab my box of awesome on my way home.

Any guesses to what it is? I've given everyone a good hint.. mabey too good. It's certainly going to put this build into "wtf" territory.. as If it wasn't there already lol.
