My bed on my 83 4x4 regular cab is off center a little. How much play(adjusting room) do you have when you loosen those bed bolts? And how easy are they to get loose without breaking something? Anyone have any experience with those?:icon_confused: Thanks:icon_thumby:

There is quite a bit of play in the bolt holes in the frame. Spray the bolts once a day for about a week (WD40 or equivalent) to loosen them up, and you shouldn't have a problem. The bolts are T-55 size, standard twist.

I'd be willing to bet the bed is on straight and the cab is crooked. Check the rear cab mounts, they like to rust out. My first Ranger was a 1991 that I bought in 1998 and they were gone when I bought it. 7 year old truck.

X2, although the rusted mount issue is way more predominate on supercabs.
