So I got a 79 FW D44 from the J-yard. I have completely stripped it, narrowed it and am now ready to start ordering parts to re-assemble. I'm looking at these axles from wild horses.

And this rebuild kit from Jeff's

My questions are, Is there a better way to get all this stuff IE: Less expensive, better product for price, one stop shopping?
Also, what is a "slinger" they come with the axles?
