I have a 1990 ford ranger and the seats are in bad shape, I want to restore that truck but It might be difficult to find the same seat in good condition, So what would be my option, I'd like to keep that 60/40 configuration...Do they make custom fit cover for these truck, or can a upholstery shop match the existing fabrics ?

I think your best bet would to have it reupholstered by a shop. You may be able to find a slip over cover, they make them for the new 60/40 seats, but a shop will be able to redo the foam too and make them like new.

A good upholstery shop should be able to match the fabrics. My 89' B2 had bad 60/40 seats when I got it and I found some "decent" replacement seats (60/40 also with the same fabric) out of a Ranger. I had to swap rails but that was easy enough. One of the members here........

Any idea on how much something like that would cost? Got a buddy who’s considering it

No idea but it would be easy enough to call a shop and get a ballpark figure.
