Hay I was talking to a guy from California that was pretty into CO2 rifles. He had a 308 caliber pellet gun, went to competitions and all. Said he could take down a boar with, even though it was technically illegal to hunt with that type of pellet gun or something.
Big air rifles are a thing:

A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Sounds like some range cards need to be made up for Trenton... just sayin'... just in case... for the public good... should the need arise... nudge-nudge, wink-wink... ixnay, ixnay... the chair is against the wall...

The Creedmoor is just built better to handle the high-BC bullets long-range shooters demand. You can load any 6.5-calibre bullet you could possibly want in the Creedmoor and it will fit in any short-action rifle or AR-10-size magazine. ... The Creedmoor shoots flatter, hits harder, does not drift as much and kicks less.

I've only put 40 rounds through my Delta 5 so far since it's not easy to shoot it in NJ but the thing is a beast. My brother in law just finished a 600 yard range on his property so when I go down there in a few months I plan on really testing it out. I've managed to hoard 200 rounds during the pandemic, 6.5 creedmoor has been really hard to find so me and my brother in law have been grabbing 20 round boxes anytime we see one left on the shelf.

For me fitting an AR-10 chassis is a bit of a turnoff.

My 6.5 is in an AR-15 chassis and is a perfectly fine 400+/-yd deer rifle with a tad more kick than a 5.56.

Still has less drop at 1000yds than most .308's too. :dntknw:
