anyone done this conversion? the W trans has a lower 1st gear than the E so better launch without sacrificing freeway mileage ? doing this on a 06 2 wheel ranger with 4.0

My credo
If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you have an electrical problem
Welcome to the forum, the installation of a W/S model in place of an E model would be a big undertaking. Dimensions and electrical configuration are the first things that come to mind. PCMs use completely different input and output strategies. Sure it could be done with investment of time and money. Good luck.
