So I've swapped a 302 into my 1985 ranger and don't know what to do for the clutch throwout, was hoping to be able to maintain the hydraulic system. It's got the late 80's early 90's mustang t5 bellhousing and a t5 transmission. I was hoping for parts I could use to adapt it to the factory ranger clutch master cylinder. Any help is appreciated.

i don't really need an example of the entire build, just what you did with the clutch throwout. Didn't see that part when I looked through your link.

You can use a hydraulic system. Right now I have the stock 1984 master cylinder connected to a slave cylinder and mounting bracket that I bought from daze cars. I had to get everything hooked up and then remove it from the truck and bleed it on a workbench. The master cylinder I have is a 3/4 inch bore and the only way to get it to work is to put a lot of preload on the rod that pushes the arm. The 1988-1991 (I believe) master cylinders are a 7/8 inch bore. I am getting one tomorrow. I will post something whenever I get it working.

Yeah, one of the guides told me I would need it, but didn't say exactly what to do with it.
