Give me a shout next time you're up my way, I'm sure I have a good one. I think I was the guy that sold you the skid plate a couple weeks ago, took me a while to put two and two together there lol

Yep, and a front seat and a set of rear springs......perhaps I'm being anal, how long should it take from pushing the button to 4x4 engagement? The B2 seems to take 2-3 seconds and my 04 Silverado takes only a second or so. It does engage and light the 4x4 light on the dash but the light by the button is about DIM.

What would you have to have for one?

IRRC there was a whole procedure to getting that to work that involved driving a few feet or something to get the auto hubs to lock in. So 3 seconds is pretty quick considering.

Mine has manual hubs.....it takes about the same amount of time to engage as my 04' Silverado with push button 4x4 so I'm thinking it's "good".

2-3 seconds sounds about right. As far as the lights being dim, that seems to be just a weird, common, somewhat normal thing with these trucks. I've also seen some where one light is brighter at times, or on at the wrong time, etc... but the 4 wheel drive functions normally and shifts into all three ranges correctly. Maybe there is a weak ground causing it or something but you'd think there would be other issues present with that. I don't know. In any case if you need a button panel I am sure I can round one up for a 10 dollar bill :icon_cheers:
