Engine is smooth and quiet on warm up. Afterwards clatter develops. What are the indications of this. Engine has 150000 miles
and performance is great.

You need to put a real oil pressure gauge on it, and monitor the oil pressure during that cycle. Usually the minimum considered good oil pressure is 10lbs per 1000 rpm.
