Delete 4.0 V6 & 4.6 V8 Belt Tensioner

Bought this for my '04 Ranger which I traded over a year ago.

I had this on the truck for about an hour. During that time I heard a low squeal. Thinking this one was defective, I ordered another (from RA). The low squeal turned out to be from something else. Essentially brand new.

Fits:
1998-2011 Ranger, Sport Trac, Explorer & Mountaineer with 4.0 V6
2006-10 Explorer & Mountaineer with 4.6 V8

You should double check me on this though.

Free to anyone who is willing to pay the shipping. My wife's business has a UPS business account (UPS Ground is cheapest and business accounts get better rates). Might fit in a USPS Flat Rate Box (but I don't get to the PO that often). Your choice.

My truck is at about 125K... or will be by spring.

I was considering changing both the belt and tensioner as maintenance this spring. If that is an actual Motorcraft part... I will take it.

Depending on where you're at... we might even be able to arrange an in person pick up... I could even buy lunch?

It is a Motorcraft part. Not sure if you remember but I bought a set of wheels & tires from you for my '04 Ranger (which is now in New Mexico). I'm right along the route you used to take to work; Elk Grove - Biesterfield Exit off of the I-290 extension. Lunch would be great but isn't necessary. If you want it, I'll consider it yours and you can come see me when it's convenient or the weather is nicer (or both). LMK.

Ya know... I didn't put that together that you were the one that bought the wheels and tires from me. Let me see what next week looks like and I will let you know. I don't live in Plano any longer and I sold my pizzeria... but I still do some maintenance there. I will PM you and let you know... thanks and glad to see you found another Ranger.

I recall the pizzeria was sold when I get the wheels/tires from you. I just found it ironic that you travelled right by my house on the way to Rolling Meadows each day.

Keep me posted on your schedule. At the very least I can wait for you by the curb and hand it to you as you drive by.....

I forgot all about this. Yes I sold the pizzeria and I've been mostly laid up all year.

No worries. It's time to clean off the work bench and the the tensioner is just sitting there. Either someone wants it or it's getting recycled.
